地鉄(極軟鋼及び、フェライト系ステンレス)と刃鋼(刃物鋼)とを圧延ロールにて接合された鋼材を言います。地鉄には極軟鋼を主体とし、刃鋼には刃物の切れ味を左右する不純物の少ない特別吟味された安来刃物鋼を使用しています。特に刃物の強度、耐久性及び耐蝕、加工性等に適応した素材です。

Clad Steel join steel products of ferrite (extremely mild steel or ferritic stainless steels) and blade steels (cutter steels) by mill roll. The main component of ferrite is extremely mild steel, and the specially selected fine-grade steel which controls the sharpness of the blades, Yasugi cutter steel is used for blade steels. This material is particularly suitable for areas such as the intensity of blades, durability, corrosion resistance and workability.
